Cayuga Height Carnival and New Friend
Friday after school, Mimi attended the carnival from Cayuga Height Elementary School. This seems to be a tradition for local elementary schools to host an event like this at the end of the semester. The purpose is not only recreational, but has a mission of fund-raising.
There are countless games, food vendors (hosted by parents). Of course, there are tickets available to eat/play. Our princess brought ten dollars and got 40 tickets ($.25 each). It seems running out pretty soon.
I only got to take pictures at the beginning and the end of the carnival. I went home for a nap after realize that I didn’t have the energy to follow a group of girls.
Jordan made a new friend from Cayuga Height School. Her name is Lucy and she happens to live across the street from our new house.
Having pizza before burning all the energy in games. (Did you notice that Jordan and Callie wear the same outfit? Callie called earlier this afternoon specifically requesting Jordan to wear the same outfit. I guess it’s girl’s power.)
The girls started with a cake walk. You walk as the music plays but when it stops, you will have to take a spot. Depending on the spot you take, the lucky one will win a cake.
Jordan’s stand is on the Mexico flag. Is she the lucky winner?
Unfortunately, the cake goes to the lucky standing on Italy’s flag — Lucy
Two hours later ………….. (after mommy’s nap)
The girls are having another piece of pizza and salad.
Since mommy had nothing to eat, I took the girls out for dinner. These two had another meal. I only can say the carnival really burnt their energy.
