Mimi’s piano lesson
Mimi’s piano teacher, Merilee, has a “parent conference” at the end of each semester. The purpose of the conference is to engage parents’ input on piano program evaluation. The conference took place on 6/16/10.
Mimi performed her B minus and G scale and chore inversion. This is a new skill they tried to develop over the year. Even though she hasn’t mastered the skill yet, I can see she is making progress.
Mimi then played a variety of different pieces she learned over the year. It has a good combination of classical music (Sonatina) to contemporary (Color of the Wind).
She got a golden cup from the piano festival performance. She has accumulated enough score (15) from the last few years that earned her this little trophy.
After the conference, we went to Purity Ice Cream to celebrate her accomplishment.
