We Are Going To NYC!!
Daddy is arriving at NYC on Saturday afternoon. Mommy promised Mimi to take her to the city for a few performances and shows. Since daddy’s trip was delayed for a week, that has an impact on this promise.
Because daddy will arrive in JFK airport, we decided to go to the city for the weekend to “pick up” daddy. We will take the bus on Friday night (to be precise, Saturday morning at 1am) so we arrive in the city before 7am.
There are so many things to do in the city and we only have a few planned.
Saturday morning, we will be in the early crowd to get on the the Empire State Building. Mimi has a special spot where she carved her name on the observatory several years ago when we visited the building with grandma, grandpa and uncle. She already asked me to bring the permanent marker.
After that, we will have either a brunch or lunch in the Korea town near by. I was told that there is a very good bakery on the street. Hopefully, we can find it.
Mimi wants to see American Girl store and a few other places. I believe we can easily find fun things to do in the afternoon.
Daddy’s flight will come at 3pm so we probably will need to go there soon.
We will check into our hotel before dinner. Daddy reserved a room in the Hyett Hotel on Wall Street. We were told the room should be pretty good and breakfast is included. Since we are in downtown, we will go to China Town for dinner. I hope to be able to find a good dim sum restaurant.
We should monitor our time since we need to catch Mama Mia at 8pm.
