Mimi’s Bite on the Big Apple — Empire State (part II)
Mimi and Mommy at the top of the Empire State Building.
Mimi fell in love with the machine. She was able to see very clear (even the Statue of Liberty) with it.
See something?
We thought that we could leave our name at the top of the building. Years ago, Mimi actually did (in front of the GE building). She was looking for her remark. However, it seems like all marked had been removed by pressure wash. You could hardly see anything.
This is where Mimi was looking for — her spot with grandma — in front of the GE building.
She quickly left her initial on the bar. We used the color that matched the bar so it would not be easily recognizable. I guess it will soon to be removed again.
I hope she learns it is more important to leave the good memory by heart (or at the blog) than leaving a mark somewhere.
Mimi listening through the recording to learn about the city landscape.
