It seems like these girls live a better life than most of the people.  They dine out, they do horse back riding, golfing, camping and picnicing….  These girls have a luxurious life style.  I guess capitalism started when you were young.  These images portray the “perfect life” for these little girls. 

 

 

 

Mimi insists that her doll needs another outfit.  It is either the pajama or

 

 

Swimming suit (2 piece).

 

 

At the end, she decided to buy the pajama because “it is more comfortable for her”.  Since this is out of the budget, Mimi will pay for the outfit with her own money. 

 

(OBS’s OS:  I don’t see the reason of spending $30 for an outfit on a very small doll.)

 

 

 

Do you know what is this?  I found this in the lady’s room.  To make sure their dolls are handled with care, they have a special “Doll Holder” in the bathroom (in every single one).

 

I admire the effort and the consideration they put into a doll.  For my girl, this is not only a doll.  She is a good companion.  For other girls, this could be a dream that they are about to carry out….  For American Girl Place, it is a profitable business and for parents, it is BAD NEWS.  All I can say is that if you want to step into this store, get your credit card ready (unless you want to see sad faces).
