National Dance Museum and Hall of Fame
Our next stop is to visit the National Dance Museum and Hall of Fame.
When I did the research, I knew that this is a fairly small museum. However, Elizabeth’s (Mimi’s friend in the art class) mother encouraged me to still take Mimi there.
This is a museum with dance exhibit collection and Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame features different important figures in the dancing history. These indicted individuals have their important contribution to the dance history (mostly modern dance).
On August 15, 2010, the Hall of Fame inducted Michael Jackson. Therefore, there is an area designated to Michael Jackson and his accomplishment.
Mimi was reading Michael Jackson’s timeline. She learned that Michael was born in Gary, Indiana. He belonged to a singing group, the Jackson 5.
This is one of Michael’s signature — his gloves.
