Greek House — History Center Event
After the “Bug” event, we went to History Center for the Greek History Open House. Even though we are not Greek, it will not hurt to be exposed to another culture.
By the time we arrived, it was close to the end of the day. There were people dancing greek folk dance. Mimi and Michael sat at the end to watch the performance.
After the dance, there was still time to enjoy some children’s activities. You can make bracelet (or necklace) or write your name in greek alphabet.
Mimi was concentrating on finding her name in Greek.
However…..
Do you see something missing? There are only 24 (instead of 26) letters in Greek alphabet. There are missing the most important letter for us…..
Where is the letter JJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJ?
We were told that we need to use G instead of J. I guess Mimi will be Gordan instead.
Mimi started making her own necklace.
