Ouch It Hurts — Mimi Got Her Ears Pierced!!

On Wednesday, mommy finally agreed to take Mimi to the mall to get her ears pierced.  This is a request that had been pending for a variety of reasons.  Mommy had been telling Mimi that it hurts BIG time when you pierce your ears.  That has been working for the last 9 years but I guess it is not working any more.  It’s time for the REALITY CHECK!!

 

Mommy picked up Mimi and Lucy (for her spiritual support) from afterschool and headed to the mall directly.  Instead of going back and forth, it is clear that Mimi already made up her mind to go forward with that.  There were numerous times in the past that Mimi decided to back up her decision at the last minute.  I guess that is not the case this time.

The person was putting a dot on her ears to make sure it aligned and leveled appropriately.

 

 

Everything was closely sanitized (I guess to the best of everyone’s ability).

 

 

I wasn’t allowed to take picture when the “action” took place.

 

Here is the “AFTER” picture.  Mimi endured two pinches.  I can see it hurt but she was happy about the way she looks afterward.

 

 

See the beautiful earings?  It is Mimi’s birth stone — 3,, Crystal tanzanite.  Although the ear piercing was free, the birth stone costs $36.50.  They are good with business.
