Take A Better Look At The World — Mimi’s Wearing A Glasses

Remember that mimi was having some problem on visual test during the physical exam last month?

 

Mommy immediately made an appointment to see an Optometrist (eye doctor).  The earliest appointment we could make at that time was today (11/5/10).

 

It happened that there is no school today.  Mommy and Mimi slept through the night until 8am.  We quickly got ready and made our appointment for 9am.

 

Dr. Schwartz has a very nice bedside manner.  He was gentle and answered questions in details.  As I glance through his office, I saw the pictures of his young daugther.  No wonder he is such a good pediatric optometrist.  He is a father so he knows children well and how to interact with them.

 

Mimi was put through quite a few tests.  It was determined that all the physical functions around her eyes were normal.  However, she does have sympton of near sight.  A pair of corrective glasses will greatly help with the problem.

 

 

 

Mimi started picking a frame from different shelves. 

 

Does she look like Connie Junior in this pair?   Probably not a good choice.

This is the final winner.  Her glasses will be ready in a week for pick up.  Mimi can’t wait!!  Evetually, this is not such a bad experience.  “It’s kind of fun.”  Said Mimi.
