Mimi Got Styes
Mimi came home last night complainting about her right eye. Her eyelid was pretty swelling. This morning, the swellingness became a bit worse. She was very upset about the way she looked and was crying in the morning (and last night too).
I made the first appointment with the doctor this morning. It was confirmed that she got “styes” in her eye (also called “niddle eye” in Chinese).
Mimi actually felt all right. It didn’t cause her any pain, just uncomfortable. After the appointment, mommy took her back to her classroom and rush to the pharmacy to get her the anti-biotic ointment (very expensive, $40 for the co-pay).
