Nail Time

Mimi’s Sunday started with a hearty brunch with grandma and mommy at Boatyard Restaurant.  After that, mommy took her to her long-requested nail appointment at Miracle Nail.

 

She seems to have a hard time deciding what she wants for her color….

 

 

 

 

Finally, this girl decided to make her fashion statement with bold pink.

 

 

This is a 15 minutes appointment that requires fairly sophisticated steps.  I was impressed with how much work was put into this process.

 

First he removed her existing nail polish.

 

 

Then cut her nail into shape.

 

 

And polished the edge with tool.

 

 

Someone is apparently enjoying the special treatment….

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mimi is getting a hand massage.

 

 

 

 

Now he is applying the first coat of nail polish on.

 

 

then added the accents.

 

 

 

 

See the little flower?  She has one on each hand.

 

 

After it’s done, she needed to dry her hands for 10 minutes.
