Happy Chinese New Year!!
We experienced a big snow storm the night before Chinese New Year. The school was closed because of it. Mimi got her wish granted to have a free day from school. Of course, mommy took a day off because of it.
Mimi had a play date with Irena that afternoon. Mommy thought since it is the Chinese New Year, why not celebrating it with our friends.
This is unusual to plan the last minute New Year reunion dinner but I guess we have been through quite a few unusual events recently. With Ellie’s help, we were able to get a whole table of dish for Irena and Mimi’s family.
Irena and Mimi have known each other since they wore diaper. Ellie has been a great friend of mommy. It’s great to be able to celebrate the important event with them.
Of course, we also think of someone who couldn’t be with us…..
And save a spot for him………….
Mimi and Irean were having fun outside kicking off the icicle formed by the roof line.
Also played at home as well….

Sorry, this was created as a last minute deal. I only had about 3 hours to put the dinner together. With the help from my dear friends, it happened!!
