Passion to Music?
Mimi and mommy went to the music store on Saturday afternoon. On the way, mommy was chatting with mimi. Mimi said she was one of the best clarinet player at her school band now because she has been playing clarinet since 2nd grade. Mommy then asked if mimi will be interested in staying in the band when she goes to middle school.
Mimi: “Of course, I want to continue doing band.”
Mommy: “Why?”
Mimi: “Because you get to go to the Hersey Park if you join the band.”
Mommy: “Is that the reason?”
Mimi: “Well, and also because it is good for your career.”
Mommy: “…………………………………….”
Mommy hopes that the passion to music is the reason that inspires Mimi to continue with the journey to learn her instruments. I guess Mimi thinks differently and far ahead……….
Mimi later told me that she likes to play her instruments but doesn’t like to put the time into her practice. Well, my baby, you will never master your piece unless you are willing to put your efforts into where your passion is.
Hope she learns this somedays.
