Easter Egg Decoration

It was a pretty relaxing sunday morning.  We didn’t do much…  Mimi had her brunch at home.

 

 

This is how we relax at home….

 

 

At 4pm, mommy took Mimi and Callie to her church to attend the egg decoration event (celebrating Easter holiday).

 

You will have to register first. 

 

 

You have a chance to choose between candy or gift.

 

 

 

They both decided to go for a gift.

 

 

They can go from table to table to decorate their eggs.  Each table offers different styles and technique on egg coloring.

 

 

Egg dying.

 

 

 

Or you can paint brush your egg.

 

 

 

 

Or you decorate your egg by using colored string. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Or you can draw on your egg.

 

 

 

 

This is probably the most complicated skill. 

 

 

You will burn wax to create the coloring on the egg.

 

 

Requires fine motor skills and grown up assistance.

 

 

 

 

 

You draw your pattern on a dyed egg.

 

 

Requires lots of attention to detail.

 

 

 

And careful hand coordination.

After they finished their projects, the girls decided to play jump rope outdoor.  Yes, that was the gift the choose from the registration table.
