Mimi’s Entrepreneurship Experience
Since Mimi was a little girl, she never hides her desire to make money.
Last week, mommy went to the apartment to collect coins from the laundry machine. This was usually one of the chores that mommy does on her own to process these coins into rollers before taking them to the bank for a deposit.
When daddy saw mommy doing that, he thought it will be a good opportunity for mimi to make some money. Of course, her eyes immediately opened widely when she heard the word “money”!!
The deal is, for every ten rolls (for $10.00 per roll), Mimi gets to keep one roll on her own. This is not a hard task but does require patience and good hand skills. It’s not that easy to quickly put all coins into the rollers. Also, you need to do all the counts so you know how much to put in each roll.
Daddy was doing some demonstration. When he realizes that it was getting close to her bed time, the demonstration turned into “help”….
Someone is working hard for money.
And making progress.
As it turned out, we were $2.50 short to $300 (30 rolls). Because of that, Mimi was only able to collect her share of 2 rolls (for $20.00).
For the amount of time she spent, this is a pretty good deal — at least for Mimi.
