Mimi’s Poetry
At the end of the school year, Mimi brought home quite a few projects that she accomplished during the year. One of the assignment caught my attention. It was a book she made called “my poetry book — by Jordan Lu”.
It contains five different poems she wrote. I thought she did an excellent job. Want to share those here….
Love That Girl
Love that girl,
Like the bird loves the air.
I said I’ll always love that girl,
Like the bird will always love the air.
She makes me happy,
When I’m feeling down.
She’ll read me poems
When she sees a frown.
She’ll always be my little princess
And a daddy’s little girl.
Even when grown
I will alwasy love that girl.
Teardrop
Tear
Tear tear
Drop drop drop
Drop drop drop
Plop plop plop plop
Plop plop plop plop
Sadness sadness sadness
Sadness sadness sadness
Angry angry angry angry
Crying crying crying
Drop drop drop

The Zoo
While lions roar,
Monkey screech.
Bears growl,
And birds chirp.
Munch munch,
Chomp chomp.
All the sounds of the zoo

The Rabbit
Gentle little rabbit, which I adore,
With its long floppy ears down by its
sides.
Something I wish to cuddle next too,
with all my might
Sucn creatures as wonderful as light.
A little fur ball, so puffy and white,
That jumps so high when it feels fright.
This little rabbit, so loveable and warm,
Is my delight.
This one is my favorite……
The Ocean
Sitting by the Ocean,
Resting in the sand.
Looking in the sunset,
Laughing at the birds.
The blue Ocean shimmering,
The cool wind blowing in my face,
The rocks tickling my feet,
This is my paradise.
