Mommy’s Surprise
This summer, Mimi was practicing gymnastic in the morning. Starting last week, Mommy let Mimi to stay home for the afternoon. The deal is that she will not watch TV nor play with the computer. Instead, she will practice her piano and clarinet and do her math homework. If she has her spare time, she can do whatever she wants (reading, drawing or resting)….
On thursday, mommy picked up Mimi from gym and brought her home. She knew that we were going on a week-long trip to California to see uncle. She saw there was laundry in the washer. Mommy didn’t ask her to finish doing laundry but did ask Mimi to start packing for herself for the trip.
When mommy got home that afternoon, this is what she saw……
The laundry was folded neatly on the table.
And her suit case was all packed, ready to go….
