Mimi’s first 0 — yes, it’s her grade….
Last week, mommy picked up Mimi as usual from school. She was pretty quiet in the back seat. Mommy was trying to chat with her but she didn’t seem interested.
“How is school?” asked mommy.
“Ok….” said Mimi.
“…………………..”
After a while, mimi finally told mommy that she forgot to turn in her family consumer science project. And she got zero for her grade.
It doesn’t seem that Mimi knew the due date of the project. Mommy remembered seeing the project sheet in her folder but there was no deadline. Mimi said that the teacher told the class and they were supposed to remember that and put that on their planner.
I can see that Mimi felt pretty bad about that. Eventually, she wants to be the best of everything she does.
A few days later, mommy found that Mimi was working on the project. Mommy thought that the deadline already passed but Mimi said she still can turn it in later. She said that the teacher will accept that. Even she turned in late, she still took great care of her project. This is a project called “Book about ME!”. They need to answer a few questions about themselves.
