Mimi’s Physical Therapy
Mimi goes to her physical therapy twice this week. The purpose of these sessions is to help Mimi to rebuild the strength of her injured muscle so that she will be able to go back to her routine quickly.
This practice focuses on her lower left leg muscle. From going up and down the beam both sides, she will not over compensate the strength on her right leg and can build up the strength on the left side.
This is a tough one. She needs to be able to keep her balance on the ball while throwing another small ball to the bouncer (and catch it). The ability to maintain her body balance requires lots of adjustment on her lower body, especially her legs. All muscle needs to work together to be able to accomplish that. I can see it is a challenge for her since her body is not even out.
