One Fine Day — Letchworth State Park
After lunch, we drove about 45 minutes to Letchworth State Park.
There was a couple doing bird watch. They found bold eagle and generously offered us their telescope to see the bird.
Even Victor got to try it!!
We happended to see a demonstration from a wood carving artist.
The children’s attention soon shifted from throwing rocks to finding ants.
Even Victor could participate!!
Apparently, the sign didn’t mean anything to these two….
What were they doing?
Arron was making a tomb for the dead ants.
And the rest were helping.
including Victor!!
You can see people drafting along the river…..
Arron wanted to try to climb up the top of the truck.
And he made it!!
So did Brian, but he needed a little push!!
Whlie the boys were enjoying the better view from the top of the truck, their mother managed to strike a deal with the artist and brought home a dog (and his shelter).
This was where we spent most of our afternoon — near the water……
These two decided to build a dam.
Victor really had a great spirit. He was up most of the afternoon. Of course, his parents were exhausted at the end of the day…..
We drove home after dinner. It was quite late when we arrived in Ithaca. Daddy needed to fill the tank. The children decided to make themselves useful.
Suddenly, the gas station turned into a car wash service.
After we got home. Arron and Brian managed to play a few minutes while mommies were getting things taken care of.
The two were going to also play a piano duo but were fighting over which piece to play…..
Not sure about others, but I was exhausted and had a really good night sleep!!
