Articipation — Johnson Museum Photography Workshop

Since Mimi was young, mommy has been taking her to attend different art workshops at Johnson Museum.  Together, we have completed numerous art projects over these years.  These great exhibits are displayed at different corners at our house.

However, daddy has never stepped into the museum.  He didn’t realize how much he missed.  Last week, we had a chance to visit the museum for another great workshop.  This time, we invited him to join us.

(It feels so good to be dropped off in front of the museum entrance instead of finding a place to park and walk all the way back…..  )

We are making image transfer from different art pieces to a white board.  You then can decorate your own created image any way you want.

Still texting?  I wonder who he is talking to??????????

First, you apply a thin layer of chemical on your art piece.

Then, press it hard on the piece of paper.

Use a spoon to press all the air bubbles out of the print.

And peel off the paper to get your image.

These are the finished product from us.

Mommy’s first finished project.

He is proud with his work.

Daddy’s finished work.

Mommy’s another piece of work with daddy.  He created in the image and I did the “spray” of color.

Mimi’s Statue of Liberty, red, white and blue.

We also toured around the small Japanese Garden at the Museum.   Seems expensive to me.
