Dinner at Jimmy and Mingfang’s
Sunday night, we visited Jimmy and Mingfang’s apartment after the pool party. We have heard numerous time on how great Jimmy’s culinary skills are. That evening, we finally got a chance to try it for real.
From the presentation of his dish, you can tell that Jimmy is for sure an engineer — meticulous, precise, and pays a great deal attention to details.
Our main dish was pasta with meat sauce.
But he serves salad as a starter. You can see that there are slice fruits (grapes and strawberries) topping on the salad to enhance its presentation.
It’s the “real” Uncle Henry (Jimmy’s brother) and the “fake” Uncle Henry (Mimi’s daddy).
The iron chef was still working on the final details on his meal.
As far as the host, Victor, he was busy running around the apartment.
For dessert, he served fruit with yogurt. He also slightly toasted black peppers on top of the blackberries. Never tried that one before.
