A Beautiful Afternoon at Ithaca Children’s Garden
We went to an outdoor event on one Saturday afternoon. It was a bit chilly but still beautiful. Mimi wanted to take her little friend from gymnastic, Emma, to join her.
We went to Ithaca Children’s Garden. Originally, we were going to make a scarecrow. However, by the time we left Cornell Employee Celebration, it was too late. However, they still had a wonderful outdoor survival skill demonstration in place.
They made hot apple cider from natural ingredients — fresh apple press to make cider using pumpkin as a container. They even warm up the rocks and put into the pumpkin to boil the apple cider.
What really inspired her interest was the fire making workshop. You try to make fire by drilling into wood.
But, no matter how you tried…..
amd tried……
and tried…..
It didn’t work…… 🙁
Someone is very happy to meet all the pumpkins.
Even with the help from supposedly the “expert”.

Daddy is taking the destiny on his own hands, but not doing that successfully.
