First Day of School — Cayuga Height School
Finally, today is the big day for Jordan and the rest of the school age children in New York State to go back to school. Mimi was disappointed that she was not in the same class with Lucy and Callie. However, she heard that Mrs. Patterson, her new teacher, is pretty cool.
Lucy and Jordan had a “meeting” last night to determine their outfit. After a long discussion, there was no decision made. However, based on the look, I guess they sort of had their minds set on shorts and sweatshirt.
The school bus arrives at 7:22am. Jordan set her alarm at 6:30am. We had our breakfast (yogart and strawberries). Mommy also made her favoriate lunch — mac and cheese. She has a bag of snacks and fruit with her lunch and a bottle of water. Jordan already got her back pack ready on Sunday night.
I guess we are set to GO!!
Lucy already told Jordan that she will get on the school bus with Jordan. Lucy will “show her the way”.
Of course, Lily was already awake and excited about the first day of school (unfortunately, she was not old enough to be at school yet). She was still happy to see her big sister to head off to the big day.
At 7:22am, the school bus arrives on time.
In the bright sun light, our girls are on the bus and ready for the beginning of their 5th grade!!
