Cornell Employee Day Celebration!!

Saturday after the drawing class, daddy’s friend from Corning, Taco and his family came to our house to join us to Employee Day celebration.

 

We went to the football game first.  This is  a good sunny afternoon.  It was warm most of the time.  Of course, Mimi wore her Cornell sweat shirt to cheer for the home team.

This is Cornell vs. Colgate.  For some reasons, this has been offered to the employee day celebration.  For the last few years that I have participated the event, I do not recall Cornell ever winning the game.  What will be the result for today’s game?  Can’t wait to see.

 

Even though it is a tough game, everyone came, including the cheer leading team, Cornell Marching band, and of course, the enthusiastic employees and their friends.

 

We arrived a bit earlier.  Luckily, we were able to sit somewhere close and center.  I don’t think we have ever been this close to the podium.

 

 

Someone was throwing the T shirt to the audience.  Cornell also offered free T shirt to get more “Big Red” spirit. 

 

 

Because of our seating, many T-shirt came towards our direction.  Luckily, we got two, one for Mimi and one for Michael.

Cornell started losing shortly after the game started.  It was quite depressing to see home team losing.
