Dancing Fingers — Mimi Is Learning Typing
During the school open house last month, Mrs. Patterson mentioned that children can start learning typing at home. Mimi came home last night asking to use the computer. I usually don’t let her use computer during the school night but she said that was for her school work.
I looked into what she was doing. She went to http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/typing/. This is a web site that offer free typing lesson. Even though I was not impressed with the strong British accent and the animation, I thought it is a good exercise for her.
Thinking back, mommy didn’t start using the computer until I graduated from college. I guess technology makes progress over these years. It has reached out to a much younger generation.
