Mall for the Weekend?
Mimi spent most of the time on Saturday in the mall. Why?
After the lunch at Ithaca Bakery, mommy took Mimi and Lucy to the mall to shop for the birthday party present for her friend, Saveta.
Mimi really wanted to get her ears pierced on Saturday. She asked Lucy to be there for the moral support. For one reason or another, the ears piercing didn’t happen. Mimi was very disappointed…..
(It is probably too early for you to have any parts of your body pierced….)
Shopping for the birtyday present. The rumor on the street is that birthday girl LOVES earings and piece signs.
After leaving the mall, we went directly to Saveta’s house. Little did I know, the plan of the party will take place mostly at the mall. The girls will head to the mall for a shopping trip. Each girl will be given an “allowance” to spend at the mall.
I guess in a way, shopping with your friends at the mall makes little girls feel better than doing that with your parents.
After that, the girls will have dinner at the mall (from the Thai place take out).
Saveta’s father is a pediatric doctor at the hospital. He was paged for an emergency that afternoon. Therefore, her mother was short of one vehicle for ride. I offered to pick up the girls at the end of the party to go back to their house to open presents.
I met them at the book store at the mall around 6pm.
(What was mommy doing during the 2 hours? Grocery shopping and buying the camcorder….. Always something).
