Busy Saturday — Part III — Up Close and Person — Cayuga Chamber Orchestra concert in Sage Chapel
Saturday night, we went to a local concert in Sage Chapel. It was a co-performance from Cayuga Chamber Orchestra and Cornell Glee Club. From what mommy can see from the program, it is a good combination of classical music from Mendelssohn and Schubert.
We went to the concert but we didn’t know what was there waiting for us……
When we arrived, the chapel was quite crowded. We were able to find seats from the 2nd row. The first row was marked as “RESERVED”.
So here we are. The beginning part of the concert took place at the back of the chapel. But during the intermission, everyone moved back to the front of the church.
These girls didn’t know that they are about to watch the performance up close and personal — literally in front of their eyes.
The girls were THAT close to the conductor. The picture was taken from Mimi’s back. The man sitting in front of Mimi was the tenor who soloed the performance.
It was an unforgettable performance!!
