Resort at Rochester?
Friday afternoon, we took off earlier so that we can arrive at Rochester in a decent time to enjoy. Mommy already called the hotel. We were told that there is jacuzzi, sauna and a swimming pool. There are countless restaurants like Oliver Garden, Red Lobster, Outback, etc. around the hotel.
It sounds like heaven for us. If we are paying $150 to stay for the night, we will want to enjoy the facility as much as possible (especially we check out first thing in the morning).
It took Jordan a while to decide where she wanted to go for dinner. She was flipping between different ideas.
(“We just had steak last week at Applebee, should we try something else?” “But I really want to hvae a good piece os steak”, etc, etc, etc,……)
We didn’t go to mommy’s old time favorite, Oliver Garden. Instead, we went to Outback Steakhouse.
We arrived around 6pm and the wait time was already for 20 minutes. We decided to wait in the lobby area.
The servers were sending out small appetizers to sooth the wait time. Mimi really like the pita they served.,
At the same time, we found an episode of CSI happening outside of the parking lot. Two police officers opened up a vehicle. Took out every single items and combed through each one of the item. Apparently, they were collecting finger prints and other evidences.
It was really fun to observe that from a distance in a warm spot. It was pretty chilly outside. Mommy was enthusiastically discussing with other patrons on different scenarios that could lead to this. Somebody thought it was a stolen car they were investigating. Mommy thought it was a missing person (who could have been murdered). Police follow traces of tips to find her car here. This is the last place where the person was seen alive…..
I thought my story was better than others.
Of course, we didn’t get to see the end of the story. We were called for our seating when they police officers removed the license plate from the car.
Of course, we always start our meal with salad. We need to make sure we have enough vegetable intakes.
They were offering another sample of salad. Mimi didn’t like the taste of goat cheeze.
This is what I ordered. Sweet glazed pork served with mashed potato.
Mimi’s was a 9 ounce steak with sweet potato fries. Her fries were too cooked so we asked for another serving.
