Mock Meet in November, 06
I didn’t have the chance to upload the video clips I got from the mock meet a month ago in Syracuse. This is the qualifying event that all gymnasts have to pass in order to compete in public.
Mimi didn’t do that good of a job in that meet. She fell from the bar landing and actually missed one skill from her routine. I believe she also fell from her beam routine. And she almost hit the wall with her vault landing. But she did a pretty good job with her floor.
This event actually took place a few weeks before going to Rochester. I was a little concerned if she will be able to get all the skills before the first official meet.
I have to say that I admire Mimi’s resilience to bounce back from bottom to top. She worked with her coaches to refine and polish her skill to perfection.
