Mimi’s Art Project — Stained Glass Art
This is a project that last a few weeks. Children choose the pattern they desired and cut off the fine line with special tool. To execute this project, it requires good eye-hand coordination and extreme attention to detail. I think our girl has both.
She started working on this project when mommy was preparing for dinner. She cut off the color paper to match the pattern on the grid. Then she used the glue to attach that to the back of the grid.
It’s easier to handle the big pieces without much edges.
But when it comes to the corner pieces, that’s where the challenges come.
Mimi got frustrated with getting those pieces together so she asked mommy to help. We are a good team — mimi traced the pattern and mommy did the cutting. Then mimi glued it back to the back of the grid.
piece by piece.
Finally, this is done………. After hours of hard work, it was past 11pm when this master piece was completed.
A photo from the back of the grid.
