Mimi got in Boynton Middle School Band
As many of you know, Mimi has been playing clarinet for the last 3 years. This summer, she really worked on enhancing her clarinet skills and has been working with Alex on a private lesson. Her fluency and note reading skills had been improved significantly. Her goal is to join Boynton Middle School Band.
Last week, she attended the band audition with the school band director. Yesterday, she told me that she would be playing in the school band. In addition to that, she will be playing with the 7th and 8th graders (instead of the 6th graders).
She is really happy with her advanced skills.
