Mommy’s Friday Afternoon Date with Mimi

This is the Columbus Day weekend.  There is no class on Friday or next Monday.  Mimi and mommy were planning for a special treat on Friday.

 

In the morning, Mimi didn’t wake up until she pleased.  This girl woke up with full set of energy.  She practiced her clarinet and piano as she promised.  At noon, mommy came home to pick her up to start our special date.

 

We started our date with a lunch buffet at Okenshield dining hall.  This is now Mimi’s favorite spot for campus dining.  It features a great view to the lake and the hill.  Of course, we sat by the beautiful window to enjoy the food and the view.

Of course, this girl will treat herself some ice cream…..

 

 

 

 

At the end, we need to bus our own table like the big girls and the big boys in the college.  Is this an “orientation” session for Mimi?

 

 

 

Someone insists using her crutches.  It doesn’t make her walk any easier but does spare her to carry her homework.

 

 

 

 

 

Now she landed in mommy’s office.  She set up her desk and worked like a business girl.

 

 

 

 

She was pretty efficient with her homework.  She completed her family consumer science report.  She did a pretty good one.  Stay tuned….
