Mimi’s Book Report — Murder Mystery
One of the big accomplishment Mimi made when Mommy was in Taiwan was to finish her book report.
Each student needs to read a mysterious book. Our girl picked the book called “Seance”. If you look up the wikipedia, the definition is “A ceremony where people try to communicate with the spirits of dead people”. The book was pretty scary — involving murders of two young girls…… Sometimes she was so scared of the content in the book that she had to stop. One day, when mommy came home, she found that Mimi locked herself in the bathroom because she was afraid of what was happening in the book.
The teacher asked children to present what they read from the book in a few specific questions: who was the authur and what was the story about? Who was the first and secondary charater? What happened to them? What was the mystery? How do you solve the mystery?
I think our girl did a pretty good job presenting her book. We will wait and see what Mrs. Amici thinks.
