Mimi’s Letter
Mimi’s English and Language Art class is teaching children how to write letters. One of the exercise is to compose a letter to their teacher, Mrs. Amici.
This is what Mimi wrote:
To: Mrs. Amici
Subject: My vacation to Los Angeles, California
Dear Ms. Amici:
Last summer, I went with my mom to my aunt and uncle’s house in Los Angeles, California for a vacation. They surprised me with a huge pool and a breathtaking view. We went to many other sites, including the Getty Museum, but my favorite part was the Universal Studio. I got to walk on the red carpet, and passed by the neighborhood of “Desperate Housewives” while they were filming! We of course went to the Disney Land Resort. Each time I go, it just gets better and better. I have to say, Space Mountain and the Indiana Jones rides were the best. That vacation has to be my favorite past time because of all the great memories I took in and the wonderful and previous time with my aunt and uncle. I can’t wait to go back on srpgint break.
