Welcome a new addition to our family — Weber Spirit Grill
Last winter, we took the advantage of ordering a grill for our backyard from a discount sale at Home Depot. However, they couldn’t assemble all pieces together until spring. Therefore, the grill in a huge box was sitting in the garage for the whole winter.
Last weekend, daddy and mommy brought the box out of garage to Home Depot. We got the phone call soon that our grill was ready to be picked up!!
Isn’t she beautiful?
Because of her size, we couldn’t fit her in our Landrover. Luckily, Home Depot has trucks for rent. It’s not a bad deal to pay $20 to rent the truck (comparing to $65 for shipping and delivery). They even put the unit on the truck for you. All you need to do is to drive the truck and take it down from the truck.
Of course, you need to tie it up securely since we will be driving up a pretty slopy hill on route 13.
After he showed daddy how to untied the unit, we were all set to go!!
We were so excited about riding on the truck. What an experience for Mimi and I!!
Yes, you see that right. In addition to the grill, we also need to bring a container of propane gas with us. I haven’t seen daddy driving so carefully. It’s not fun if something happens.
Finally, we got home.
And here she is — nicely placed in the backyard.
Wait, it’s not done yet!!
Mimi needed to set up the chandelier lighting fixture.
And we also need to put the cover on the grill.
After that, the job is well done!!
