Yes, this is my Mimi.
We received this photo from Mimi’s kindergarten teacher, Jude. She is a professional photographer who enjoys taking photos on children. This picture was selected by “Teaching Young Children/Preschool” current issue (Vol 5, No. 4). The photo was taken on September 8, 2005.
What a precious gift from Jude. Thank you so much. It brought back so many beautiful memories…..
I still remember that pink hair band — Mimi’s favorite at the time. The jacket (before she got on the chocolate stain later), the pants, even her socks — it felt so close, yet so far away. If I close my eyes, I swear that I can still smell Mimi’s baby scent at that time…..
Those days will not come back again…..
