I Made It!!!

In mommy’s office, we all take turn “hosting” birthday party.  This has been a practice for years.  Every time when it comes to mommy’s turn, she always brought store-bought product (cake, ice cream, etc).  Some of her co-workers really put efforts on making the event special.  They brought home-made cup cake, pastry and others.  Mommy has never been able to compete with that.

 

This year, with Tina’s help, Mommy learned to make fruit tarts.  Mommy spent Sunday afternoon with Tina and made the crust and filling.  Last night, after transit to venus, she started putting things together.

 

First, you mix the whip cream with the custard. 

 

 

 

Here are the crusts from Sunday’s workshop.

 

 

You pre-assamble your tart and decorate with blueberries.

 

 

Next morning, you slice the strawberries into small pieces.  This can’t be done the night before because the strawberry will not last long.

 

 

Does it look better now?  It’s not done yet!!
