Korean BBQ — continued
As I look at the menu, I wish we came with a whole troop of people. There are so many things I want to try but there are only the two of us. I asked the waitress if I can only order one entree. She said she doesn’t think it will be enough for the two of us and suggested me to order two instead. I thought with the side dishes, it should be plenty so I asked again. Finally, she said yes.
The entree was served with side dishes. I LOVE Korean side dishes. With one entree, we still have a full table of side dishes. There were:
— Deep fried small fish
— Spicy squid
— Green vege and salad
— Kimchi
— Egg plant (this one is VERY delicious. Even Mimi had a few pieces. She usually doesn’t like egg plant)
Hungry girl.
The BBQ is served with wrapping lettus and bean sauce. They also have seasoned tofu and cucumber as side dishes.
I recommended HS to go to this restaurant but I guess they couldn’t find it. Here is the business card in case anyone wants to go again.
Looking at this, I am almost in tear. I was in heaven….
Between Mimi and I, we finished BBQ and most of the side dishes. We had three bowels of rice. Yum.
Mimi and her new doll. Since that day, we have a few names between Lulu, Lindsey, Madeline, etc. I am still not sure what is the final decision on the name.
During lunch, mommy called the hotel to see when we can check in. We surprisingly found that it is immediately available. That will be a perfect rest point for us.
The hotel is located in the Wall Street Finaicial District. It is easier to take the subway there. On our way, Mimi found an interesting detour — a shopping mall. She entered without hesitation.
Took a picture with Mary Poppins window.
